Making life easier for finance teams
AccountsIQ is already an established finance system with a wealth of innovative product features that help finance teams become more efficient and effective. Our customer feedback indicates that it covers all the functionality you need to run – and grow – a mid-market company. As a result, we get some great product reviews, but we’re never complacent.
As our Chief Product Officer, Russell Cooper, explains:
“Our focus is always on solving the problems of multi-entity or growing companies and supporting them to automate and streamline their finance function. Most of our customer requests are for making the software more enjoyable to use and easier for them to get the most value out of the product. That’s why we’re launching this major redesign.”
A sneak preview
Here’s a sneak preview of how the new AccountsIQ will look.
Grow quicker with intelligent accounting
While we hope you’ll love our fresh new look, Russell is keen to stress that this redesign is not just a new lick of paint. The product will continue to offer the broad range of core financials that you’d expect from a finance system but in a more easily accessible way.
“Although our primary users are qualified accountants who have a deep understanding of the intricacies of the finance world, even they prefer to use a product that is intuitive and easy to use. Inevitably, as our customers grow and their finance needs become more complex, they need to adopt some of the more innovative and intelligent features in the product. The purpose of the overall product redesign makes it as easy as possible for customers to do that.
We want everyone to be able to quickly access all the features available in their price plan. Overall, the redesign means the product is much more intuitive for all types of user, across the business, not just in finance.”
The big reveal
The product redesign is being implemented in phases. The most visible of these is how features within the product are accessed – the primary product navigation. Individual areas within the product are also feeling the re-design love: bulk payments, managing financial periods and AP automation being three examples.
We’re continuing to beta test each new design. So far, the feedback from customers who have been helping us with the testing has been extremely positive.

We’re very excited about this project but we also understand how important it is to get the redesign right. As such, the release date will be influenced by the feedback we get from early adopters. Currently, we’re hopeful it will be around August.
Of course, we’ll keep you up to date, so watch this space. Particularly as this redesign is just the first of several exciting new product improvements we’ll be rolling out this year.
