The Company
At AccountsIQ, we’re on a mission to deeply understand our customers and deliver technology that enriches their lives. We provide smart, feature-rich financial management software designed for ambitious businesses that have outgrown basic starter systems or seek a simpler, more affordable alternative to complex, costly ERP solutions. Our cloud-based accounting software transforms the finance function, making it easier for multi-entity businesses to capture, process, and report their financial data with ease and efficiency.

The Role

As Senior Product Manager at AccountsIQ, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product. You’ll work closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to identify opportunities, define requirements, and deliver innovative solutions that improve efficiency and enhance the user experience for finance teams.

You’ll manage the full product lifecycle, from discovery and ideation to launch and post-release optimisation, ensuring that our features deliver measurable value. This senior role requires strong domain expertise in purchase-to-pay and adjacent areas, as well as the ability to drive innovation through strategic partnerships, automation, and next-generation AI capabilities.

What you’ll be doing

Product Strategy & Roadmap:

  • Contributing to the product vision and strategy, aligning with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Defining and maintaining a product roadmap, balancing short-term wins with long-term strategic investments.
  • Identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation in the SaaS finance software space, particularly within Accounts Payable and purchase-to-pay.

Discovery & Requirements:

  • Engaging with customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders to gather insights and validate product ideas.
  • Assess third-party solutions and partnership opportunities in the AP automation space (e.g. e-payments, OCR tools and AI-driven enrichment) to inform product direction.
  • Conducting market and competitor research to inform product decisions.
  • Translating high-level concepts into clear, detailed product requirements and user stories.

Delivery & Execution:

  • Collaborating with UX/UI designers, engineers, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features on time.
  • Owning the backlog for your product area, ensuring priorities are clearly defined and well understood.
  • Participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and review sessions.

Launch & Adoption:

  • Planning and executing go-to-market activities in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
  • Defining success metrics, tracking performance, and gathering post-launch feedback for continual improvement.
  • Ensuring that new features are well-documented, communicated, and supported internally and externally.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Acting as the bridge between commercial teams, technical teams, and end-users.
  • Championing the customer voice within the organisation.
  • Supporting internal enablement by providing product knowledge, demos, and training materials.

What you’ll need

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Product Manager (or Senior PM) in a SaaS or fintech environment.
  • Strong understanding of accounting, finance processes, or ERP/financial management systems.
  • Proven expertise in purchase-to-pay (P2P) processes within a SaaS-based product.
  • Experience integrating with e-payments platforms, assessing options in the marketplace, and driving strategies to embed and monetise them.
  • Exposure to AP automation solutions, including OCR tools (e.g. Klippa or similar), and familiarity with AI-driven approaches (e.g. RAG) for enriching supplier datasets and payments.
  • Proven track record of delivering features from concept to release in an agile environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • An analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisions.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across teams.
  • Familiarity with API integrations, automation or reporting tools would be beneficial, along with exposure to UX design principles and usability testing.
