The Company
At AccountsIQ, we’re on a mission to deeply understand our customers and deliver technology that enriches their lives. We provide smart, feature-rich financial management software designed for ambitious businesses that have outgrown basic starter systems or seek a simpler, more affordable alternative to complex, costly ERP solutions. Our cloud-based accounting software transforms the finance function, making it easier for multi-entity businesses to capture, process, and report their financial data with ease and efficiency.

The role

We are looking for a proactive and dedicated People Operations Manager to lead our People Operations team, being the driving force behind our operational excellence; taking ownership of the systems, processes, and experiences. This newly created role is key in supporting the people agenda across our Ireland and UK business, driving the development and implementation of People strategies, and ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day People operations. You'll be a trusted partner to leadership and employees, helping to build a positive culture, ensure effective talent management, and support business goals through people initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as functional lead to set direction, lead key projects (including the EU Pay Transparency directive) and drive global process design.
  • Deliver critical People programs, including performance cycles, compensation reviews, and engagement surveys - ensuring flawless execution and meaningful business impact.
  • Lead on People technology initiatives, including a major HRIS upgrade, while exploring new ways to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Design and document scalable processes across the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Develop and update salary ranges, benefits packages, and process automations.
  • Manage GPG reporting and other regulatory compensation submissions.
  • Partner with brokers and vendors to optimise benefits programs and manage contracts.
  • Ensure seamless execution of People operations, including payroll, benefits, and compliance.
  • Monitor People metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of People initiatives and make data-driven improvements.
  • Act as a trusted partner to leadership and employees, addressing People-related queries and resolving workplace concerns.

What you’ll need:

  • 7+ years’ experience in People Ops, including at least 2 years in a managerial role, ideally within fast-scaling organisations.
  • A proven track record in managing compensation, benefits, and People policy development across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, BambooHR) and process automation.
  • To be skilled in designing and maintaining salary structures, benefits frameworks, and regulatory submissions.
  • An in-depth understanding of EU and Irish employment legislation, including Pay Transparency and Gender Pay Gap (GPG) reporting.
  • The ability to interpret People data, generate insights, and support evidence-based decision-making.
  • Demonstrated success leading People transformation or systems implementation projects.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to partner effectively with senior leaders.
  • To be solutions-focused, adaptable, with a passion for scalability, compliance, automation and continuous improvement.
