The Role
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Recruitment Business Partner to join us and help us to grow and scale our teams. You can expect high-impact and wide-ranging responsibilities: owning full-cycle recruitment, driving and delivering hiring strategy, leading first-in-kind searches, and delivering a best-in-class candidate experience. The successful person must thrive in a learning environment—unafraid to try new things, embrace new ideas, and welcoming ideas and input on how we can enhance our processes. This is a 12 month fixed-term contract.
What you'll be doing
- Managing, driving and owning the full recruitment life cycle by creating robust pipelines through active sourcing of multiple channels, screening, interviewing, offering and closing candidates
- Working closely with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and to ensure new hires have the skills, experience and capability required for each role, therefore contributing to the strategic goals of the business
- Ensuring that every candidate experiences a fair and timely recruitment process through strong recruitment project management and delivering of results
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to provide effective and fit-for-purpose recruitment solutions
- Delivering on AIQ recruitment goals and targets in line with our hiring strategy
- Working with the CPO in designing and building an attraction plan for the year ahead – attending career fairs, colleges and workplace awards
- Driving process improvements, initiate creative and scalable enhancements to our existing recruiting strategy and policy
- Tracking and analysing metrics, reporting on hiring progress and deliverables to business leadership on a regular basis
- Being accountable for the offer process, including offer approvals, contract extensions, negotiations and offer closings
- Working with AIQ Marketing to incorporate and enhance employer branding as part of the recruitment strategy.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of full cycle in-house technical recruitment experience, ideally in a past paced environment
- Strong understanding and use of competency-based models, recruitment fundamentals, competitive market awareness and online/social media experience
- Previous experience managing multiple open vacancies and delivering on recruitment strategy
- Strong customer and candidate focus, striving always to provide the best service for all stakeholders
- A passion for delivering a top-class recruitment service
- Proven excellence in influencing and negotiation
- The capability to work in a growing and changing environment
- Previous experience managing and prioritising multiple projects and priorities
- Ability to work independently and strong decision-making skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills – can effectively develop trusted relationships with many stakeholders quickly, build credibility, and partner effectively with other colleagues
- Excellent communication and organisation skills as well as an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
