The role
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the PR and Content Manager will be the mastermind behind all things content marketing, from crafting successful strategies to leading the charge in creating and sharing awesome content across all our channels. We need an excellent team player who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams with creativity and drive to help us stand out from the crowd.
Responsibilities
- Developing an integrated content strategy that tells our story in a way that reflects our brand identity and objectives with the aim of generating new leads, increasing brand awareness and customer engagement aligned with the marketing strategy
- Generating ideas for content topics and campaigns to maximise reach and engagement with target audiences
- Ensuring that all external and internal facing content is consistent and supporting the brand
- Producing content that really resonates with our target audiences at every stage of the sales cycle. This includes simplifying complex product features into clear solutions that solve real business
- Overseeing the implementation of an effective content lifecycle process that works to distribute our content effectively
- Reporting on content performance, KPIs and ROI on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. Deep diving into the analytics to see what’s working and what’s not, then using that insight to tweak our approach, improving engagement and conversions
- Day-to-day management of our PR agency: working with them to develop a PR plan and measure the main KPIs to ensure ROI
Managing a team of one copywriter - Having an in-depth understanding of the video content industry and how to effectively develop and deliver video content to target audiences
Qualifications
- 5 years previous experience minimum in content planning and creation
- At least 2 years previous experience in PR
- Knowledge of the software ecosystem and able to convey a complex technological solution into a simple consumer-friendly message
- Ability to dive into the technical intricacies and understand the product deeply
- Previous experience in prioritizing and organizing the work when juggling multiple projects at once
- Previous experience in nurturing talents.
