Our CEO, Tony Connolly, is one of the speakers at the annual Chartered Accountants Technology Seminar 2010.

This takes place on Tuesday 12th January 2010 in Belfast, Wednesday 13th January 2010 in Dublin and Thursday 14th January 2010 in Cork.

The focus of the seminar is Cloud Computing and is mainly targetted at practicing accountants. It aims to address the question "What the Cloud is and how will it impact on you?".

This is free to members of the Institute but other practicing accountants are welcome to attend.

accountsIQ Australia was set up in Sydney in November 2008, headed up by Michael McKeand and has already had some significant success.

Deloitte Australia signed up as an major user of accountsIQ in May of this year.  They chose accountsIQ as the online accounting platform for their clients after extensive evaluation and due diligence of competing offerings in the marketplace.

We are pleased to inform you that we have just completed a €3.5 million funding round which will see us through to successful commercialisation.

Data Electronics Group (DEG), the Data Centre and IT Managed Services provider, led the round with support from existing investors Enterprise Equity, AIB Seed Capital Fund and software industry veteran Gerry McKeown.

We are delighted that we now have the facility to provide remote assistance and connect into PC’s for fast, easy, and secure desktop sharing.  

If a user encounters a situation and requires the assistance of accountsIQ support we have the option of connecting into your PC using this software.

It is totally secure and only by you providing a unique ID, we can connect into your PC to troubleshoot.

Last week we released a new set of enhancements to accountsIQ.  All of these improvements are based on our customers' feedback.

We have a further set of enhancements to make between now and the end of 2009 which we're really looking forward to delivering for all our customers. 

Group Consolidations

accountsIQ now handles full Group Consolidations and reporting. This is ideal if you have a number of group companies or subsidiaries that you wish to consolidate into one reporting entity.
