Cloud Computing is the latest buzz phrase from the IT world. It conjures up images of an intangible, fluffy, unknown world far removed from the existing IT world of hardware, servers, cables and physical infrastructure.

It covers anything that involves delivering computer services over the Internet and in layman terms it means that computer systems are now being delivered as utilities, just like telephones and electricity.
