New AccountsIQ Release Incl. Cashflow Forecasting

We're pleased to announce an important new release of AccountsIQ, which has been designed with you, our customers in mind.

We've listened to your requests around usability and concerns you raised regarding tracking and managing your business cashflow.

You can read a full description of these new features by downloading this overview.

Cashflow Forecasting

Cashflow Forecasting is fundamental to managing a successful business. Depending on your type of business, you are unlikely to be able to raise investment, develop a good relationship with your bank, or simply know what is going on in your business without an accurate assessment of your cash position and requirements.

The new Cashflow Forecasting function enables you to run cash forecasts from existing data held within your system.  This function will enable you to forecast the movement of cash in your company's bank accounts based on existing transactions held in the system, plus future and expected cash transactions that you wish to include.

The system will also calculate expected settlement dates based on customer and supplier payment history rather than just their assigned credit terms.

Cashflow Forecast

Note that this function is available for ControllerIQ and EnterpriseIQ editions only.  BookkeeperIQ users wishing to upgrade should contact our support team (support@accountsiq.com). If you are interested in more detail on the functionality in the Cashflow module click here to see our full Powerpoint presentation on the solution which we have been showing customers recently.

New Look and Feel to Sales Receipt & Purchase Payment Screens

Over the next 2-3 months there will be a series of major new releases to upgrade the look and feel of screens throughout accountsIQ.  This upgrade work will provide users with a wealth of new features and enhanced usability and access to improved help facilities.

The first new look and feel upgrade will be applied to the existing Sales Receipt and Purchase Payments screens.  These screens will provide many new enhancements, which will be added to all new upgraded screens over the coming months.

New Vat Return Function

The new VAT return function has some important changes, particular for companies that manage their VAT on a Cash Receipts (Ireland) or Cash Basis (UK).  When setting up a new company on accountsIQ the requirement to specify the VAT basis for that company will no longer be required.  For existing Cash VAT based companies there will be no changes or adjustments required to the system – just an easier way to manage your VAT returns.

Support Call Logging

Users now have the facility to record a support call directly from the system, which is automatically sent to support@accountsiq.com.

In addition it is possible for Practices, Franchises or Groups to add two further email addresses for delivery of these emails to help keep track of issues being raised by their clients.

We'd be delighted to show you these new functions so please contact our support team to find out more.
