Accounting Software Network Performance enhancement

To ensure that accountsIQ is delivered to users at a consistently high speed anywhere in the world, we have partnered with Akamai www.akamai.com, the world leader in web application performance management.

To optimise response times for queries, transaction postings, reports requests etc,  between users and our hosted servers, all application requests are sent over the Akamai network. Akamai has the world's largest fault-tolerant network, comprising 61,000 servers in 70 countries.

When a user requests a function within accountsIQ, dynamic mapping technology directs the request to the closest Akamai server. Certain static data is cached on those servers and the dynamic account and transaction data is retrieved from the relevant accountsIQ server. 

Using route optimisation, Akamai identifies the fastest, most reliable path back through the Internet to our server to retrieve the application content, and employs connection techniques to optimise communication between servers, improving performance and reliability of both retrieval and delivery. Access control features ensure application security is maintained throughout the process.
