accountsIQ was launched commercially in 2007 after over 30 man years of development and now has users in Ireland, UK, Australia, India and The USA.

Company Founders

accountsIQ was established in 2004 by Tony Connolly – a former partner with top five Irish accountancy and consulting firm FGS Partnership, with 25 years experience in the IT sector. It started with a team of professionals with hybrid skills and qualifications in software, accounting and business that together had more than 100 years experience in designing and implementing accounting, management reporting, and ERP systems.

With the growth in broadband, they saw the possibilities to create a functionally rich online accounting platform and take advantage of what is now termed Cloud Computing.
